actually, I've maid it a couple of days ago, but it's ok for the start

for an one-pound baguette you'll need:
- 320g of flour
- 130ml of tepid water
- 2/3 tsp of dried yeast
- 1 tsp of salt
combine everything in a bowl and kneed gently until smooth and a bit sticky. this should take approximately 5-15mins. put the dough in another lightly oiled bowl, cover it with a clean dish towel and leave to rest in a warm place for 45 minutes. be sure that there's no loud noises and draught around. form a rectangle from the dough and fold it 2 times. leave it in a warm place for 45mins or until the dough has doubled in size. put the dough on a flour-dusted surface and leave it for 10mins, form a baguette, put it on a flour-dusted baking tray and leave for 40mins (preheat the oven for 230*C). make deep diagonal slashes across loaf every 2 inches and bake it for 20-30mins.
